Citizen Citizen Stainless Steel Sport Luxury Mens Watch

# CB5878-56E

One hundred years ago, Citizen changed the world of watchmaking forever with the launch of their first pocketwatch. Today, that legacy continues with the brand's latest PCAT. Inspired by the patiently formed layers of Earth's crust, the new timepiece represents the unique embodiment of Citizen's watchmaking – using over a century of experience to pair meticulous design with incredible functionality. Joining Citizen's cutting-edge catalog of timekeepers, the sharp chronograph features a scratch-resistant Super Titanium™ case with a black DLC coating, measuring 43mm in diameter. Secured to the wrist via a finely-finished 5-link bracelet to solidify the lightweight, durable construction of the timepiece, outer tachymeter and inner world time equipped bezels hint at the elevated technological capabilities of the watch, while a duo of stepped chronograph pushers and crown guards provide a sleek and sporty touch. On the Earth-inspired dial, a three-register chronograph is at work, with touches of greens, purples, and blues adding crystalline-like dimensionality alongside the utility of a day and date display. Other advanced features include atomic timekeeping technology with synchronized time adjustment available in 24 time zones, a chronograph measuring up to 60 minutes, perpetual calendar, 12/24 hour time, alarm, and power reserve indicator. The scratch-resistant Attesa is powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology, so it never needs a battery. Water resistant up to 100 meters. Caliber E660.

Citizen

The Citizen Watch Company of Japan was founded in 1930 and since then, its record of achievement is distinguished by many firsts, such as the world's first analog watch, accurate to within 3 seconds per year, and the world's thinnest movement. In 1986 Citizen assumed the No 1 position in world watch production and has remained there ever since. Today Citizen is successful in many areas of ‘non-watch’ business – information equipment, electronic equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, jewelry and spectacles – and its Research and Development facilities are second-to-none, resulting in the development of technology that leads quickly to new products.
